Interior Designers spend a great deal of time measuring wall
space for original works of art and digital prints. The furniture,
lighting, and accessories all play an important role in deciding
the best choice and location for a painting or print.
Not every budget allows for an original Picasso painting. So
price is a factor as well. Expensive art is only a number.
Creating a powerful statement requires much more.
Balance and Harmony are essential elements to good design.
An abstract painting from a famous artist can be expensive but
its size and colors can make the room appear out of balance.
I have seen this many times on the walls of enthusiastic collectors.
Frames: Black, gold, or white,
wood, metal, or custom designed, thick, thin, ... you get my point.
The right frame enhances the painting or picture. It can be a work of art by itself or very simple.
